This Organic Dried Natural Salt Flower is farmed in Kansat Village, in Kampot, South of Cambodia.
This delicate salt is hand harvested (using a special rake) from the surface of the sea-water ponds as the water evaporates and fine, light salt crystals form on the surface in plates, called Salt Flower or Fleur de Sel.
Kampot Flower Salt (less salty than its cousin from Guerande), has a mild salt flavor, and is best used as a finishing salt to enhance any gourmet meal.
