How to prepare
Grapefruit can be used in an almost infinite variety of cakes and desserts, squeezed for juice, used as an ingredient for marinades and savoury dishes. Try combining with watercress, beetroot and finely sliced red onion for a refreshing salad.
You can also use them as a base for a vinaigrette to fo with thinly sliced fennel. This will soften the flavour of the fennel. This is actually my daughter’s favourite salad, she is 5 years old! 🙂
Grapefruit will store for up to one week at room temperature or in the fridge.
