Banana puree for baby food diversification

Banana puree for baby food diversification

Ingredients

1 ripe banana

Water or breastmilk/formula (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel a ripe banana and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Using a fork, mash the banana until it becomes a smooth puree. You can also use a blender or food processor to achieve a smoother consistency.
  3. If the puree seems too thick, you can add a small amount of water, breastmilk, or formula to thin it out to a consistency that your baby can easily swallow.
  4. Serve the puree to your baby in a small bowl, using a soft-tipped spoon.

Note: Make sure to use a ripe banana as it will be easier to mash and digest. Also, remember to consult with your paediatrician before introducing any new food to your baby.
